"How is my income worked out?"
Income is all the money that you (and your household, if you have one) receive.
If you are working, this is shown as an average, weekly figure (after National Insurance and Income Tax have been deducted).
Income can include (but is not limited to) :
- Wages,
- Income from capital assets (such as rent from another property, savings interest, etc.),
- Benefits you or your household receive,
- Pensions
and many others.
