Prices are applicable to all receptions held Monday to Saturday and based on a twelve hour hire, to allow plenty of time for room set up and breakdown.
For Sunday and Bank Holiday bookings all rates are doubled.
Entertainment
You are welcome to use any entertainer you wish, but we ask that they contact us at the Guildhall to discuss any limitations that might cause a problem such as smoke machines, haze machines, confetti cannons or fireworks.
Furniture
We have furniture available for the function, however, if this is not satisfactory and you would prefer an alternative you will be required to hire anything that we do not have in stock.
Decorations
You may provide your own decorations but please be aware that there are certain restrictions to what you may have within the building such as helium filled balloons, smoke machines and candles. Please discuss your ideas with the team as soon as possible.
Parking
We can provide parking at the Guildhall for anyone involved in the organisation of the event i.e. Disco, Caterers, Table Dressers. All other guests should use the public parking provided within the Town Centre. There are several car parks within a short walk of the Guildhall. Any cars parked at the Guildhall need to be removed after the event has finished.
Damage
You are liable for any damage to the building or its fixtures and fittings caused as a result of the function and will be invoiced accordingly after the event. This is not a regular occurrence, but all clients are informed at this stage.
Catering
We are party to a catering framework and as such any catering or bar provision must be provided by one of our caterers. We have a range of caterers who can work with you to design your perfect menu. Details provided on request.
