You can request a sharps collection for needles and syringes. These must be placed in a sharps box provided by your GP or healthcare provider.
Sharps collection times
Sharps collections are only available pre-booked on Thursdays.
Subject to availability, the cut-off time for next-day collection, is 4 pm Wednesday.
If the clinical/sharps waste is found to be contaminated with other types of waste it will not be collected.
Please ensure your sharps are out for collection by 6.30 am on your chosen collection day.
