Payment methods

The majority of the town's car parks operate on a pay and display basis with machines located throughout the car parks.

All surface car parks accept coins and some of the busiest central car parks now also accept card and contactless payments.

Our 4 'pay on foot' multi-storey car parks accept cards, coins and notes.

Please check price boards in car parks to ensure you pay the correct amount for your stay.

If you encounter a problem with any of our machines please call 01604 838446 for help.

If you can provide as many details as possible such as time and date, car park name and machine number, this will help us resolve your issue quicker.

Parking fines

Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and parking enforcement are dealt with by Northamptonshire County Council.  You can contact the Parking Management Services Team on 0845 680 0153
