Guildhall and Northampton Museums catering services tenders now open
Northampton Borough Council is inviting tenders for bar and catering provision for the Guildhall, Northampton Museum and Art Gallery, and Abington Park Museum.
The Borough Council is seeking bids from local suppliers to provide catering services for various events and meetings held across all three venues. This would include catering for large and small celebratory events, corporate events, weddings, civic functions, and business breakfasts.
In addition, bids are welcome for sole suppliers for each of the following: the bar service at the Guildhall, catering services for the new Northampton Museum and Art Gallery café and for catering services for the Guildhall’s Christmas Party functions, which run throughout December.
It is intended that each supplier will be in place for two years, beginning November 2019, with the possibility of extending for a further year.
Ideally, suppliers will be local to Northampton or use locally supplied produce for the bar and catering services.
Anyone interested in submitting a tender for one or more of the services, can apply by registering with Pro Contract.
Councillor Brandon Eldred, Cabinet member for Finance, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for local suppliers to bid for the provision of one or more services for our three beautiful venues, over the next two to three years.
“We are keen to broaden the type of catering we can offer, so encourage applications from a wide range of suppliers offering international foods, including Caribbean, Indian and European cuisines.”
The tendering for these services will close on Tuesday 3 September.
