Communities in and around Rectory Farm are being encouraged to share their thoughts on plans for updating the play equipment at their local park.

People can help shape how the park will look by feeding back on suggestions for two pieces of new play equipment, which will be introduced to the play area later this year. Four options are available for people to comment on and suggestions for other ideas are also welcome.

Councillor Anna King, Cabinet member for community engagement and safety, said “As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the town’s parks, we’re looking to upgrade the play equipment at Rectory Farm.

“The park is well-used and well-loved by local communities and so we’re keen to hear what they think about the suggested new equipment, which will replace the horse springer.”
