Coffee and advice for National Customer Service Week

To celebrate both National Customer Service Week and National Get Online week, Northampton Borough Council is hosting a public coffee morning to promote the broad range of services on offer.

The borough council will be joined by 10 partner agencies which deliver specialist advice and support for people living in Northampton. The advice on offer will range from financial support to ideas on how to stop smoking.

The coffee morning will be open for everyone to drop into between 9.30am and 1.30pm on Wednesday, 4 October.

The partners attending are:

  • Credit Union
  • Dementia Action
  • Working Links
  • Northamptonshire Domestic Abuse Service
  • Northampton Partnership Homes
  • Hope Centre
  • First for Wellbeing
  • The Royal British Legion
  • Barclays Digital Eagles
  • Department for Work and Pensions

Councillor Anna King, cabinet member for community safety and engagement, said: “We’re committed to delivering excellent services for all of our customers and are keen to make sure that people are aware of all of the services we offer.

“We have some fantastic partners that we work closely with to make sure that people living in Northampton are able to access the support that’s available to them. I hope people come along to learn more and take advantage of some free advice.”
