Works from some of the county’s finest artists will be on display at Northampton Museum & Art Gallery from Saturday 3 December, as part of Northampton Town & County Art Society’s 103rd exhibition.

This year the popular annual exhibition will have an exciting edge, with pieces from talented graduates and non-society members being displayed alongside the works of professional and celebrated local artists.

The exhibition runs for 11 weeks until 18 February and will include some beautiful paintings, sculptures and original print work. The majority of the items will be available for sale.

Northampton Borough Council’s Cabinet member for Community Engagement and Safety, Cllr Anna King, said: “It’s great to be welcoming Northampton Town & County Art Society back to the Museum & Art Gallery for their 103rd exhibition.

“We look forward to seeing the most recent artworks from our local art talent in the exhibition, which has become a significant event in the town’s cultural calendar.”

Opening times for the exhibition are Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 12pm to 5pm. Admission is free.
