Local Producers’ Market continuing to attract new businesses
Our fourth Local Producers' Market will be welcoming three new businesses to showcase their goods on Saturday 29 October.
Jelley Distilleries from Brixworth will be attending the Local Producers’ Market for the first time as a platform to promote their elderflower infused vodka, along with serving suggestions and vodka based cocktail recipes.
Adrian Malin will be joining the market to display his beautifully hand crafted metal items. His items, which includes tea light holders, coffee tables, coat racks and key holders, are all made using horse shoes.
Also attending for the first time, is Milton Keynes’ Kandola’s Kitchen who will be selling homemade vegan goods such as chocolates, sweets, pickles and chutneys.
Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr Jonathan Nunn said: “Working with traders, we launched the Local Producers’ Market earlier this year to improve our offer to shoppers by highlighting local produce. We are pleased that four months on, the market continues to be popular with businesses and draws visitors into the town centre.
“We look forward to welcoming this month’s new recruits to the October market, which will see lots of great local produce available to shoppers, in addition to the existing Saturday market.”
Other businesses taking part in the October Local Producers’ Market include Sol Laug Havens, Donnalulu cooks, Browns Gourmet Sausages, Fleur Fields Vineyard, The Good Loaf and Saxby’s Cider.
The Local Producers’ monthly market takes place between 9am and 5pm on the last Saturday of every month.
