Shoppers and visitors to Northampton will be able to experience the best of Northampton’s local businesses under one roof at the St Giles Fair this weekend.

The fair, organised by Northampton Borough Council, will include more than 25 businesses and highlight the mix of products and service on offer in the town, from clothing, jewellery and homeware to artisan bread and fresh pastries.

Councillor Mary Markham, leader of Northampton Borough Council, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming businesses and customers alike to the beautiful surroundings of The Guildhall for the St Giles Fair. Entrance is free and it’s a great chance to get a flavour of the wide range of independent businesses in Northampton and all they have to offer.

“Several of the businesses at the fair are from the St Giles Quarter and it’s an excellent opportunity for the businesses to show that St Giles Street is open for business as usual during the current works taking place to improve the winner of the Great British High Street award even further.”

The St Giles Fair will be held at The Guildhall on Saturday 12 March from 11am to 3pm. Entry is free.
