St Giles Fair to showcase the best of Northampton’s local businesses
Shoppers and visitors to Northampton will be able to experience the best of Northampton’s local businesses under one roof at the St Giles Fair next month.
The fair, organised by Northampton Borough Council, will include more than 25 businesses and highlight the mix of products and service on offer in the town, from clothing, jewellery and homeware to artisan bread and fresh pastries.
Councillor Mary Markham, leader of Northampton Borough Council, said: "The St Giles Fair is an opportunity for the many excellent independent businesses and boutique shops in Northampton to promote their wares and give people a flavour of what they do.
Many of the businesses taking part are from the St Giles Quarter and, with St Giles Street having recently won a Great British High Street award, it is a fantastic opportunity for shoppers to get a taste of what the street has to offer in the beautiful surroundings of The Guildhall."
The St Giles Fair will be held at The Guildhall on Saturday 12 March from 11am to 3pm. Entry is free.
