Chess set from the military collection

The military collection holds material relating to the Northamptonshire Regiment and the Northamptonshire Yeomanry covering the period 1741-1971.

The Northamptonshire Regimental collection consists of both objects and documentary archives, and the Northamptonshire Yeomanry collection consists of objects with documentary archives available at Northamptonshire Record Office.

Northamptonshire Archives

Both of these collections are supported by a library of reference books and unpublished research and information relating to their history. The Regiment and Yeomanry were deployed across the world, and some of the objects reflect this service with souvenirs and gifts. The collection continues to grow through objects, information or stories that people share or donate.
