Love's Labours Lost by William Shakespeare
Presented by Masque Theatre
Thursday 25 July – Saturday 3 August
(No performance Sunday 28 July)
Abington Park Museum Courtyard
This summer Masque Theatre presents one of Shakespeare's lesser known comedies. The King of Navarre along with his three friends, has vowed
to give up women, excessive food and sleep in order to study for three years. Needless to say, the arrival of four eligible girls puts this plan at risk
and comedy ensues.
This modern version is a colourful, fast paced comic romp with a twist! Just when the wooing appears to be going well... the play lives up to its title.
This is an outdoor performance in the courtyard. Please bring warm/waterproof clothing. If the performance has to be terminated during or after the interval due to weather conditions, refunds will not be given.
Tickets will be available on the door from 7pm (cash or cheque only). No advance bookings.
Children £6 (aged 16 or under)
Family ticket £28 (two adults and two children)
