16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence 2017
Why 16 Days?
16 Days of Activism is an International campaign challenging violence against women and girls. It begins Saturday 25 November and spans a number of significant dates including:
- International day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
- World AIDs Day
- International Day for Persons with a Disability
- International Human Rights Day
During the 16 Days you can show your support by attending one of the many partner events taking place. These include:
- Reclaim the Night March
- Stories of Resilience launch and Online Exploitation theatre performance
- I Heart Consent Week seminars
- East is East filming showing
