Supporting your application
Depending on the size and scale of your event, an application can take some time to process.
Large events may need input from other agencies, and Northampton Safety Advisory Group.
Abington Park bandstand
Abington Park bandstand is programmed with performances by NBC Events Team from April to September each year. It is not available for hire by the public, due to the large number of performances already hosted in that small area, and the settings.
The Events section can look to help groups to find other appropriate park locations for events – if you wish to apply using the online booking system.
Guidance for application timescales
Please allow a minimum of 6 weeks for small-scale events
Please allow a minimum of 4 – 6 months for large-scale events
Until an event is agreed, organisers should not promote or market any activities to the public.
