Bulky waste collections

Service update Thursday 2nd July

Due to a temporary reduction in staff some Bulky Waste Collections that were booked for Wednesday 1st July were not completed. Please leave your items out as close to the kerbside as possible and Veolia will return to collect them today Thursday 2nd July.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding.

What are bulky waste collections?

A bulky waste collection is a special service offered by the council which allows for the collection of large and bulky household items such as furniture and large appliances from domestic / residential properties. Please see the lists below of items that we can and cannot accept, as outlined in the terms and conditions.

This list is not exhaustive but all bookings must be made in line with the details provided.

We do not collect bulky waste from businesses or commercial properties.

If you are a business requiring collection of large items, please contact a licensed waste disposal company or alternatively visit Northamptonshire County Council's website for information, including opening times/charges for disposal at one of the Household Waste Recycling Centres (tips).

What does it cost?

Customers may have up to 3 items collected  by this service. This service carries a non-refundable fee of £15 (including VAT), so please read the terms and conditions carefully before confirming your booking.

Book and pay for a collection

Before booking your collection, please make sure we can collect your bulky waste items, as we cannot offer refunds once you have paid for a collection.
