Garden waste subscriptions
Garden waste collections from domestic properties in Northampton is a chargeable service which runs annually from April to end of March. If you would like Veolia to collect your garden waste you will need to subscribe to the service.
Each subscription costs £42. This allows you to book up to 25 collections. The subscription period for 2021/22 will run from Monday 5 April 2021 - Sunday 3 April 2022. Sack properties won’t receive stickers this year as we are revising this strand of the service and any stickers issued would become redundant once any service changes are implemented.
Full details on any changes will be communicated as soon as possible. Only properties that subscribed to the service will be able to book a collection. Veolia are aware which properties have subscribed to the service due to their on-board technology and will only collect from those properties.
If you decide not to subscribe to the service you don't need to tell us. The garden waste service is opt-in which means you only need to act if you wish to sign up.
For further information read our frequently asked questions.
As an alternative to subscribing for collections you may wish to compost your garden waste instead.

Each subscription costs £42. This allows you to book up to 25 collections throughout the year. If you need more than 25 collections you would need to purchase another subscription.
You can subscribe to the service at any time in the year; however, the charge does not reduce if you join after the service begins in April, so we recommend that you join as early as possible.
