Waste and recycling collections
Food waste and caddies
- All food waste must be at the kerbside by 6:30am on your collection day
- Although you may be used to seeing the crews at the same time each week, there is no set time for collections to take place; only the day of the week is set. Please do not report missed collections until the morning after the specified collection day
Collection schedule
We collect food waste every week, on your collection day.
Caddy liners
We do not supply liners for food caddies. Most supermarkets and household shops sell them.
How to use your food caddies
Outdoor food waste bin
Keep your larger food bin outside. You can lock it by moving the handle forward to stop pests and spillage. This is the food bin you leave at the kerbside on collection days.
Indoor food waste caddy
When it is full, transfer the waste into the larger food bin. Please do not leave this caddy at the kerbside on collection days.

Flats
At the current time it isn't possible to provide a food waste collection service from flats.
We are keen, through our contractor Veolia, to collect food waste from as many properties as possible, and we are investigating whether food waste collections can be introduced to those properties.
We will contact you if it is possible to begin collecting food waste from your flats.
