Local Validation Requirements

From 1 April 2021 West Northamptonshire Council will be following the National Validation Requirements. For details of what your application MUST include, please refer to the national planning portal at www.planningportal.co.uk

Northampton Borough Councils former local validation requirements are now all highly recommended to be included within your application, but any application submitted to West Northamptonshire from 1 April 2021 will not be made invalid if the application does not include items on the former local validation requirements. Failure to include items requested by your planning officer during the application process may result in your application being refused due to insufficient information being provided by the applicant or their agent.
