Safeguarding is everyone's business
Northampton Borough Council has a duty to co-operate with Northamptonshire County Council in delivering its safeguarding duties. Northamptonshire County Council has the responsibility to make sure the safeguarding response is coordinated.
Emergencies
If a child or young person is in immediate danger, left alone or missing and/or a vulnerable adult is at immediate risk, you should contact the emergency services immediately on 999.
Non-emergencies

Members of the public can raise their concerns with their point of contact at Northampton Borough Council if appropriate or directly with Northamptonshire County Council, as below.

If there is no immediate danger or you need advice or information, in the first instance, discuss it with your line manager or one of the council’s Designated Safeguarding Officers. If further support and/or advice is required, contact NCC using the details below:
