Apply to volunteer in the Severe Weather Shelter

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at the Severe Weather Shelter when SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Protocol) is operating.

SWEP provides short-term, emergency shelter for men and women who are sleeping rough, or are at imminent risk of sleeping rough, in Northampton.

We are keen to recruit as many volunteers as possible so that rough sleepers can be provided with a safe and warm place to stay and receive support. We are looking for committed, friendly and approachable individuals to join our team of existing volunteers and assist the staff team while the Severe Weather shelter is open.
