Northamptonshire Girlguiding Exhibition

Learn more about the 100 year history of the Girlguiding movement
In 1909 a group of girls gatecrashed a Boy Scout Rally at Crystal Palace, London and told Robert Baden-Powell they wanted "something for the girls!" Soon after, Rober Baden-Powell's sister, Agnes, founded the Girlguiding movement and today there are 7,200 members in Northamptonshire alone.
Learn more about their 100-year history in this fascinating display.

Bikeability

Cost: £15 for 4 day course
Bikeability is cycling proficiency for the 21st century and is a great opportunity for young people to learn how to safely ride thier bikes amongst traffic.
The 4 day course will enable the young people to complete their Level 1 off road and then move onto the roads to complete their Level 2. Young people need to attend all 4 days in order to complete both certificates.
Week 1 27th to 30th July (Northampton Saints)
Week 2 3rd to 6th August (St. James Primary School)
Week 3 10th to 13th August (Northampton Academy)
10am to 1pm or 1:30pm to 4:30pm For 10 to 12 years old
