Northampton Student Accreditation Scheme
About the scheme
The scheme is a partnership between The University of Northampton, Northampton Branch of the National Landlords' Association, Northampton Borough Council (NBC) and the University of Northampton Student Union.
It aims to improve the image of Northampton and ensure tenants have access to good quality housing.
It will offer landlords information and resources which will help them improve their service It aims to raise landlord awareness of their responsibilities and actively promote good standards and management practice.
How the scheme works
Northampton Borough Council operates the scheme and accredits individual properties rather than each landlord or lettings agency.
Accreditation is valid for 5 years.
