Feral Pigeons
What action can be taken by property owners to reduce the nuisance from feral pigeons?
Property owners have a duty to take action if the number of birds roosting on a building is causing a nuisance from their droppings. The Council can legally require action to be taken where necessary. It is therefore important that you check your buildings and in particular all ledges, light wells and fire escapes that are inaccessible.
