Town Centre Commission
Introduction
The central area of Northampton provides a range of shopping, employment, leisure and cultural facilities serving not only Northampton itself but also much of Northamptonshire.
However, Northampton has the potential to serve a wider catchment and to enhance its role as a regional centre, in order to meet the changing needs of the growing population. Northampton Borough Council is preparing an Area Action Plan for the town centre and the participation of the people of Northampton is crucial to this exercise.
