Our website provides a secure payment facility so that you can pay for council services online, hassle free.

Using our facility you can pay for; -

• Council Tax
• Housing and garage rents
• Business rates
• Sundry invoices
• Overpaid housing benefit 

If you haven't already done so, be sure to sign up for your Citizens Account where you can view a full statement of your account, payments made and due, discount and exemption details and more!

The Council uses a secure server to receive your payment card details. This means the transaction is encrypted between your computer and the Council's server.

The address for a secure site will always begin with "https" and the padlock icon located in the bottom right of your browser status bar indicates a secure connection.

In addition to this, new security features have been added to our online payments facility to provide you with the latest technology in combating potential fraud.

These are Card Security Code (CSC) and Verisecure with VISA and Mastercard.

CSC the person making the payment is prompted to enter the 3 or 4 digit number on the reverse of the card. This number is then verified against the details held by the card-issuing bank.

Verisecure customers pre-register their card with a password with the card issuer and when the card is used with an accredited site the customer is prompted to enter the password to complete the transaction.
