Events & exhibitions
All the below exhibitions are at Northampton Museum & Art Gallery unless stated.
Making Presence Felt 25 April - 31 May
Artist Fiona Candy explores human identity including the sensory experience of presence. In this, her latest work made specifically for Northampton, immersive sound and material objects come together in the gallery to create dramatic, acoustic encounters with many walking, running, dancing shoe wearers. By drawing our attention to the rhythmic sounds of movement, Fiona shows how the characteristics of shoes are inseparable from the individuals who wear them, or from the places, spaces and moments in which they are worn.
