Join us for an exclusive after hours tour of Abington Park Museum, especially for children! Take a tour by torch light around our galleries. Learn about our different collections, including the history of toys and homes from the past. After the tour, settle down for some spooky stories over candle light. Suitable for children aged eight and over. Children must be supervised by an adult.

Bulb Planting

Join us for an afternoon of bulb planting at Abington Park Museum. Plant your own bulbs in a pot to take home and look after, and help us to plant some bulbs in the museum’s courtyard. Suitable for children aged three and over.

Haunted Halloween

Join us for a spooktacular day of fun with scary craft activities and a haunted trail around the museum. Try the Witches’ Brew at the refreshment stall if you dare. Come dressed in your scariest costume!

A Victorian Christmas CelebrationVictorian christmas

A Victorian Christmas for everyone – a fun day of festive entertainment for all the family. Meet Father Christmas, listen to carols from Northampton School for Boys and visit the magic lantern show. Take part in Christmas crafts and make your own bauble, cracker, cards and decorations. Tempt your tastebuds with festive treats including mince pies, mulled wine, gingerbread men and hog roast.
Free. Drop in – no booking required.
There will be a small charge for some of the activities and refreshments.
