Katie Stockwin at Barclays said:
“The Digital Eagles programme is all about helping customers get the most out of being online, the benefits of being online and getting to grips with technology. We have had feedback from our customers and understand the challenges they face and this programme of sessions is a move forward to our commitment in making their lives easier online. We want everyone, regardless of age, to learn the value of being online whether that is staying in touch with family and friends or saving money.”
Councillor Brandon Eldred, Northampton Borough Council cabinet member for community engagement, said:
“We want as many people as possible to come along and take advantage of this great opportunity to learn new skills and use the internet with confidence. The borough council continually works on providing the people of Northampton with more effective ways to access our services online.”
In-depth classroom training can also be arranged; please speak to one of our Digital Eagles during the Monday session.
