support and challenge to council services, supporting development and overseeing
of the Council's strategic direction (incl. policy and plans) for equalities,
co-ordinating community forums networks,
fostering good relations and encouraging people to get involved and have their
say in relation to disability, older people, youth, race, religion and belief,
sexuality etc.
