Challenging savings proposals and investments to boost jobs and prosperity form the basis of Northampton Borough Council's budget proposals.

Budget consultation
People in Northampton have the chance to have their say on our plans to invest over a million pounds in initiatives to support businesses and residents, while also making savings across the Council of almost £2,000,000.
Your views will help us understand how our proposals may affect you and our communities. The Equality Impact Assessments you can find via the Key documents link below give you more information to help you understand each of our proposals
The consultation started 22 December and closed 31 January 2012.
The approved budget will be adopted on 29 February 2012.
People were invited to complete a survey to give their views. Additional, a range of activities were available:
