Changes to Collection Days 16 June 2008
Some residents in Northampton will experience a change in the day their refuse and recycling is collected. For 6 out of 7 households the collection day will stay the same.
New rounds are being introduced on Monday 16 June 2008. Letters are being sent to all properties that will be affected.
The changes will ensure that the council continues to provide a reliable and cost effective service to you. The new rounds are more efficient. They are also designed to avoid areas near schools and peak travel routes in the morning rush hour - so you are less likely to get stuck behind a bin lorry at this time and, more importantly, this should help improve road safety around schools
Please check both wheelie bin and recycling collections and refer to the refuse and recycling calendar to see which materials are to be placed out for collection
