Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

From 10th June 2013 the Government have introduced a new benefit for customers that need additional support for a disability or a long term health problem.

The new benefit is called Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and replaces Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for 16 -64 year olds.

If you are already on DLA and aged between 16 and 64, you may be invited to claim PIP from October 2013, but the PIP team will contact you if you are affected.

Access to Work:

The Government also provides an Access to Work grant, which can help pay for practical support so you can do your job if you have a disability, health or mental health condition.
